Below are some of the supplies I prefer to use when creating my art. Keep in mind, I started drawing using a #2 pencil and discarded scrap paper. If you're on a budget and just learning the fundamentals, then Liquitex and Winsor & Newton may be good options for you. Once I hit a point where I was selling my art regularly and could afford better materials, I started to look into higher quality paints and supplies. I found with the higher quality supplies I was able to push my skills further and my colors had a broader range. This allowed me to express myself more creatively.
